Left is P. Lionello, treasurer, and solid pillar of
our club. She does way to many tasks for our club, I do not have enough
space to list them all. In this picture, you can see the famous French
tower as the background, she was travelling Europe with Mr. D. Lionello.
She really knows pigeons, however, she prefers travelling. Who can blame
her... Not me!

Ella es P. Lionello, tesorera y pilar fuerte de nuestro club. Son muchos
los quehaceres que ella hace para nuestro club, no tengo suficiente
espacio para mencionar todos ellos. En esta foto, en el fondo, se puede ver la famosa torre Francesa, ella viajaba por Europa con D. Lionello. Ella conoce mucho de palomas, pero, ella prefiere viajar. Quien la va a culpar... yo no!
This is a picture of Mr. Dan Lionello in front of his old bird loft, he's been very active in all the different aspects of our racing pigeon sport. Many times Race Secretary for our club, and Tri City Combine. A true member of the Santa Barbara Racing Pigeon Club, he's been flying pigeons since he was a kid, and is responsible for producing many winners, and foundation breeders for his, and other lofts in this area. I want to take an opportunity to thank his wife, Penny, for her great attitude, and unconditional help as a treasurer of our club.

Esta es una foto del Seņor Dan Lionello, enfrente de su palomar de vuelo para palomas adultas, el ha estado muy activo en todas las diferentes aspectos de nuestro deporte. El ha sido Secretario de las carreras para el club, y para la federacion. Un verdadero miembro del Club Colombofilo de Santa Barbara, el ha estado volando palomas desde que era un niņo, ha producido muchos ganadores, y sementales claves para su palomar, y otros palomares en la area. Quiero tomarme el tiempo, para darle las gracias a su esposa Penny, su gran actitud, y ayuda incondicional como tesorera del club es incomparable.
This is a 2004 hen I bought from Mr. Lionello, I needed a long distance hen to blend with my slim nucleus of long distance breeders. She was a race, and diploma winner at the distance, Im very sure, she will do really well as a breeder. I've already bred a round, and I noticed she is very, defensive, and aggressive when I approach her nest box. A very good sign, a trait, I look for in my birds, aggressiveness pays off on race day. I thank Dan for this hen, and other champions I've received from him, his birds do really well in every race!
Esta hembra del 2004. es una paloma que le compre a D. Lionello, ya necesitaba sangre de larga distancia que pudiera combinar con el nucleo de mi familia. Ella es ganadora de diploma en la distancia, estoy muy seguro que hara un buen papel como hembra de cria. Ya he obtenido un par de pichones en la primera vuelta de cria, y he notado que es tanto defensiva como agresiva en su nido. Eso es una muy buena seņal, y caracteristica que busco en mis palomas;
la agresividad paga buenos dividendos el dia de la competencia. Le doy las gracias a Dan por esta hembra, y otros campeones que he recivido de el, sus palomas dan muy buenos resultados en cada carrera.
